I need to consolidate a collection of spreadsheets, text documents, and ad-hoc notes into a single, clean data set. The content is mixed—some rows are purely numeric, others contain free-form text—so careful typing, copy-paste discipline, and field validation are essential.
There is no fixed template to follow. You may structure the file however you feel is most logical—an Excel workbook with multiple tabs, a Google Sheet, or a well-labeled CSV—as long as it remains easy for me to filter, run pivot tables, and perform later analysis. Please preserve all values exactly as they appear, keep numeric columns truly numeric, and standardize dates or currency where obvious inconsistencies exist.
Deliverables
• A fully populated data file (Excel, Google Sheet link, or CSV).
• A short summary explaining the layout you chose and any data-cleaning choices or questions that arose.
Acceptance criteria
• 100 % of source records transferred.
• No transcription errors; spot checks of numeric totals must match originals.
• Consistent formatting that allows immediate use of formulas, filters, and pivot tables.
