Excel to Google Sheets Data Entry

I need help moving numeric data from a set of existing Excel files (xls and xlsx) into a Google Sheets workbook.

Scope
• Open each source spreadsheet, verify the figures are intact, and copy or import them into the matching tabs I will share in Google Sheets.
• Keep original cell formatting for dates, currency, and decimal precision.
• Preserve any formulas already present in the Excel sheets; where a formula exists, recreate it in Google Sheets rather than pasting static values.
• Spot-check totals against the source files to confirm accuracy before marking the task complete.

Access
I will provide a Google Drive folder containing roughly a dozen Excel workbooks plus the destination Google Sheets file with pre-named tabs.

Deliverable
A fully populated Google Sheets document that mirrors the structure and values of the original Excel files, ready for immediate use.
