Dynamic Google Form Creation
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
I'm looking for an expert to help me create a Dynamical Google Form for a product transformation log. The form should allow for data entry and submission and have conditional formatting based on product type and transformation step applied.
The dynamic form should log the transformation of products of a given product type across sequential fabrication steps defined by a number of parameters.
The fabrication steps are applied to a limited set of product units identified by predefined serial numbers.
The form refers to a given product type, that support a limited number of predefined fabrication steps, e.g painting, each step characterized by a limited set of predefined parameters e.g. paint type and color. File uploads in image or pdf format might be for instance the photo of the transformed product after that step.
Form Requirements:
- The authenticated user selects from a dropdown selector the product unit to be transformed identified by its S/N, then selects the transformation step to be applied in another dropdown selector. Depending on the step choice, a number of questions are presented to the user to gather the parameters relevant for that fabrication step. The answers format might be text, multiple choice, drop down selector, date time, file upload, etc... some are made mandatory and others not.
The serial numbers, possible fabrication steps, query parameters (characterized by questions, format of the answers, possible choices and compulsoriness) are all set beforehand manually, in a google sheet for instance. They define the process to be applied to a given product type or batch, and can be customized/adapted to other product types or batches changing this input sheet for the script.
Upon submission, the form registers the user answers (S/N, fabrication step and queried parameters) classified in a way that we can log the path of each product unit along the fabrication proccess. This can be done in different output sheets, one for each fabrication step, grouped in a folder for that product type/batch. First column of those sheets is always the S/N.
The output folder might contain also the input sheet above and google form script, so the form is accessed by pointing authenticated users to a single url path script and this structure can be replicated in different folders for customization/replication.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficient in Google Forms/Sheets/APIs
- Experience with conditional formatting
- Able to create complex, dynamic forms
