Daily Google Sheets Automation Suite
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I need a fully automated workflow inside Google Sheets that removes manual, repetitive work and gives me reliable, daily insights.
Scope of work
• Automate data entry: pull fresh records from external databases and online APIs, while still allowing occasional manual overrides in dedicated input tabs.
• Automate calculations: once the data lands, run predefined formulas and custom Apps Script functions so key metrics populate immediately.
• Automate data analysis: generate pivot-style summaries, trend charts, and conditional-format dashboards that refresh on schedule.
Key requirements
– Data sources include manual input, external databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and several REST-based APIs. Connection logic, authentication handling, and error catching must be built in.
– Everything should run from a daily time-based trigger; I only want to intervene when a warning log flags an issue.
– The solution must stay inside the Google Workspace stack (Apps Script, connected sheets, possible use of Apps Sheet or BigQuery is fine if it helps) so I avoid third-party subscription fees.
– Clean, commented code and a short “how-to” doc explaining the trigger setup, variable sections, and where to extend data sources later.
Acceptance criteria
1. One Google Sheet containing: raw data tabs, calculation tabs, and a read-only dashboard tab.
2. Apps Script bound to the file with functions for: fetchData(), runCalcs(), buildDashboard(), sendAlert().
3. A working daily trigger demonstrated in a quick screenshare or screenshot.
4. No authorization errors when reconnecting after logout; tokens refresh automatically or prompt correctly.
Once these four items test out on my end, the job is complete and the final milestone is released.
