Customer Capitalization Data Cleanup

I’m sitting on a spreadsheet full of customer records that look like a ransom note—random upper-case bursts, all-lowercase names, and addresses that flip styles from one row to the next. The core problem is incorrect capitalization, and it’s making the data hard to read, import, and integrate with our CRM.

Here’s exactly what I need:
• Standardize capitalization across every customer field (names in Title Case, emails in lowercase, cities with the first letter capitalized, etc.).
• While you’re in each row, take a quick web pass—open the customer’s own site or a reputable directory to confirm the spelling of the company name and primary contact. If something clearly doesn’t match, flag it.
• Deliver the cleaned file in the same structure I provide (likely Excel or Google Sheets) plus a brief change log noting any records you had to flag or couldn’t verify.

Acceptance is simple: no stray caps, consistent casing throughout, and a sheet free of obvious errors once spot-checked. I expect this to be a straightforward scrub, so if you have strong Excel, Google Sheets, or OpenRefine skills and an eye for detail, this will be quick work.
