I need a Google Sheets template that handles my day-to-day finance work automatically. Its core job is to run the calculations for budget tracking, profit-and-loss analysis, and cash-flow forecasting without forcing me to touch a calculator or re-enter numbers twice.
Here is how I picture it working:
• One clean data-entry sheet where I can paste or import raw transactions.
• Separate, well-labeled sheets that transform that data into live budget vs. actual views, P&L summaries, and rolling cash-flow projections.
• All formulas pre-built and stress-tested so they update instantly as soon as new rows are added.
• Optional Google Apps Script triggers (e.g., onEdit, onOpen) for tasks such as automatic month rollover or data validation alerts—feel free to suggest smarter ideas.
