Convert Excel Shift Calendar
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m moving my department's shift calendar from Microsoft Excel to Google Sheets. The current workbook relies on a handful of formulas—no macros—to determine assigned shifts. I only need those shift-calculation formulas working smoothly in Sheets; you’re free to redesign them with native Google functions rather than mirror Excel syntax.
Scope (low-budget, focused):
• Recreate the existing worksheet layout in Google Sheets with basic formatting.
• Build fresh formulas that deliver the same shift formats.
• Provide a brief note or quick Loom video explaining how the key formulas work so I can edit them later.
The schedule is based on a firefighter 48 hour on, 48 hour off repeating pattern with 4-day breaks every 15 days and 8-day breaks every 91 days. It is a repeating 98 day pattern. There are 2 extra work shifts in the middle of the pattern.
I’ll share the Excel file once we start. Deliver a ready-to-use Google Sheet and a short walkthrough, and we’re done.
