Bulk Shopify Product Cleanup
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have 1,250 items in my Shopify catalogue that must be tidied up before I can lodge a mis-representation appeal with Google Merchant Center. The work is straightforward and repetitive—about 45 seconds per product once you get into a rhythm—but accuracy is critical.
What has to be done on every listing
• Descriptions – remove one flagged sentence/phrase and, where needed, adjust the surrounding wording so the text still reads naturally.
• Pricing – confirm or tweak the price according to the sheet I supply. It is mostly small rounding or currency-format changes.
• Images – swap in the updated main image I provide or simply re-order the gallery if the new file is already in the media library.
How we’ll work
I will give you:
– a Google Sheet that lists each product handle, the sentence to delete, the correct price, and the image filename (if one needs changing).
– collaborator access to the Shopify admin so you can use the bulk editor, CSV import, or your preferred app (Matrixify, Vela, etc.).
You return:
– all 1,250 products updated, no residual flagged wording, prices matching the sheet, and correct hero images in place.
– a quick log noting any product you could not update and why.
I will spot-check a random sample against the Google Sheet; if everything aligns, the job is done and I can file the appeal right away.
