Bill Tracking Spreadsheet Setup
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I need a clear, reliable spreadsheet that captures every bill I have, shows what’s past due, what’s due this month, and the running grand total. All of my statements—utilities, credit cards, loans, and anything else you spot—will be forwarded to you.
Here’s what I’m expecting:
• One master spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) with separate columns for creditor, category, statement date, due date, minimum payment, past-due amount, current balance, and notes.
• Categories pre-filled for Utilities, Credit Cards, Loans, plus the flexibility to add others as they appear.
• Conditional formatting or simple colour flags so past-due items jump out at a glance.
• A summary section that auto-totals how much is overdue, how much is coming up this month, and the overall balance across all bills.
• A short set of update instructions so I—or you, if we continue—can add new bills each week without breaking the formulas.
Once the historical backlog is organised we can discuss an ongoing arrangement for weekly updates, but the immediate deliverable is the completed, working spreadsheet populated with my current data and showing accurate totals on day one.
