Batch Cost & Pricing Calculator
Budget: $10 – $60 USD
I already have the base prices and excel sheet that tallies overall prices, yet it stops short of telling me what each production batch will truly costs. I need you to expand the file (or rebuild it if easier) so that every new batch reveals:
• The exact cost of each ingredient I pour in—both raw and pre-made—calculated by the measured volume I enter.
• A running total of those 6-10 ingredients so I instantly see the real batch cost.
• Packaging expenses added automatically, whether the item goes into a mylar bag or a bottle.
• An output that suggests an optimal single-unit selling price once margin, fees, and packaging are factored in.
All measurements are by volume, so the tool must accept fl/dry ounces, or similar units and convert cleanly if I switch between them.
I will share the existing ingredient list, and current pricing data. What I want back is a clear, user-friendly cost calculator (Excel, Google Sheets, or lightweight web app—whichever you prefer) that I can duplicate for every recipe. Please keep formulas transparent so I can audit and update prices later.
