Automate Daily Google Sheets Updates
Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR
I keep my customer-purchase log in an Excel workbook, but I need the live version to live in Google Sheets and stay perfectly in sync every day. Each 24-hour cycle new orders appear, old entries change (quantities, addresses, notes), and the occasional refund means a row must disappear. I want a hands-off flow that mirrors those three actions—add, modify, delete—without me lifting a finger.
Here is what I’m picturing:
• You create or configure a Google Sheets file that holds the master dataset.
• A script, connector, or integration (Apps Script, Python, Zapier, Power Automate—whatever you’re most comfortable with) runs on a daily schedule, reads the Excel source, and pushes only the differences so the sheet always matches the latest Excel version.
• The routine must respect existing formulas or formatting in the sheet and leave a lightweight log so I can see what was added, changed, or removed.
• A short read-me or video shows me how to tweak the schedule or change the source file path.
If there’s a smarter approach to store the Excel on OneDrive or Google Drive, I’m open to it—as long as the data in Google Sheets is fresh every day.
Send over a quick outline of the method you plan to use, any libraries or APIs involved, and the turnaround time you’ll need. I’m ready to get this running right away.
