Auto Log Searches to Google Sheets

I want every search that happens on my homepage (marketplacestr.com) to flow straight into a dedicated Google Sheet the moment a visitor presses “search.” Each row should record the exact category entered, the location term, and the full timestamp (date and time) so I can keep a running, never-ending log.

The sheet itself will live in my Google Drive and act as the primary data store—no intermediate database or daily CSV exports. All entries should appear in real time or as close to real time as possible. I rely on that live feed to spot trends, so please keep the latency minimal.

Inside the sheet I need to be able to filter by location easily. A simple filter view or a pre-built dropdown that lets me isolate any city or state is enough; sophisticated dashboards aren’t required.

This tracking must remain invisible to site visitors and have zero impact on page load. Whatever approach you prefer—The site is on wordpress with listivo theme.

When we’re done I expect:
• A Google Sheet already connected and receiving data in a continuous log format.
• Basic location filter set up so I can slice the data quickly.
