AppSheet Spare Parts Inventory

I need an AppSheet application that lets our maintenance team see, at a glance, how many spare parts we have on hand and where they are located across the plant. The single, non-negotiable requirement is real-time stock-level tracking; every scan must immediately update quantity on the underlying Google Sheet or SQL table so counts stay accurate for everyone.

Workflow I have in mind
• A technician opens the app, scans the barcode on a bin or part, and either issues the item to a job or records a replenishment.
• The screen instantly shows the new on-hand balance plus any minimum/maximum thresholds I configure.
• When balance falls below the reorder point the app should trigger an in-app warning and send me an email push so I can act before we run out.

Data capture
All new inventory activity will enter through barcode scanning only—no manual typing except for occasional admin overrides. If an unknown code is scanned the app should prompt for a quick registration form so the part is added once and then lives in the catalogue.

Nice-to-have (if it doesn’t add much complexity)
Search by part number or description, a simple dashboard summarising top ten lowest stocks, and the ability to export the current spare-parts list to Excel with one tap.

Acceptance criteria
• AppSheet prototype shared for testing within one week of hire.
• Barcode scan updates quantity in less than two seconds over standard Wi-Fi.
• Counts remain correct after simultaneous scans from at least three devices.
• Final version handed over with deployment instructions and editable data source.
