AppSheet Driver Hours & Payroll
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I need a Google Sheets + AppSheet app built for driver hours and weekly payroll.
What I need the app to do:
• Drivers can start and finish shifts on their phone. Suing AppSheet
• Each driver only sees their own shifts.
• Manager can see all shifts.
• Drivers can edit their shift until it is approved.
• Once approved, the shift locks and cannot be edited.
• Drivers must not be able to start a new shift if they already have one open.
Payroll side:
• The app must pull approved shift data into weekly payroll automatically.
• Weekly hours must be calculated per driver without manual checking.
• Gross pay must calculate automatically from weekly hours and hourly rate.
• Weekly payroll report must be clear, downloadable, and exportable to PDF or email.
• Payroll data must come from the driver timesheet data, not manual re-entry.
Notifications:
• Notify manager when approval is needed.
• Notify driver when hours are approved.
• Notify when weekly payroll report is ready.
Build requirements:
• Use Google Sheets as the data source.
• Use AppSheet for the app.
• Mobile-friendly layout for drivers.
• Clean simple interface.
• Full AppSheet app must be handed over to me with access so I can edit small things later.

• Hours are recorded correctly.

• Manager approval works properly.
• Locked approved records cannot be edited.
• Weekly payroll is calculated automatically from approved hours.
