Google Earth File Investigation and Google Earth File Railroad Builds

Overall the end.goal is to have a kmz file to upload to my website program. Currently, I have a 2006 version file that works perfectly and an updated 2018 file that does not work. It works just fine when I upload it to google earth but when I upload it to my website it loses most of its functionality such as coloring and the ability to click on lines to see data. I have the two file versions and need to understand what the differences are. When that can be solved, I have North American Railroad data that needs to be broken down into a Canadian railroad file, Mexican railroad file and then each US state broken down into each file. I have the following files, csv, shapefile and GeoJSON data.
