Flutter & Firebase Developer for Travel App & Web MVP (1-Month Timeline)
Project Description:
I am looking for a highly skilled, full-stack freelance developer to build the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for Ghumakkad, a travel and adventure platform focused on mountain tours, trekking packages, and rural homestay bookings.
This project requires both a mobile app (Android & iOS) and a web portal. We are on a strict 30-day timeline to launch the MVP, so I am looking for an individual who is fast, communicative, and experienced with building cross-platform travel or booking apps.
Core MVP Features:
Traveler Side: Browse and book homestays/hotels, book mountain trekking/group tour packages, and view a status tracker for upcoming trips.
Host Side (Ultra-Simple UI): A minimalist "Host Mode" for homestay owners. Many of our hosts are in rural areas with limited digital literacy, so the dashboard must feature a simple Green/Red calendar toggle for availability and easy pricing updates.
Automated SMS/WhatsApp Alerts: Integration with a gateway to send immediate booking alerts to hosts who may not be active on the app.
Required Tech Stack:
Frontend: Flutter (Single codebase for Web, Android, and iOS).
Backend & Database: Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Storage).
Integrations: Razorpay (for centralized payment collection) and MSG91 or Twilio (for automated host SMS).
Offline Capability: The app MUST utilize Firebase’s offline caching. Our travelers and hosts are often in low-network mountain regions, so the app must not freeze when the connection drops.
Project Milestones & Payment:
I require daily code commits to my GitHub repository and brief daily updates. Payment will be strictly tied to these 4 weekly milestones:
Week 1: UI/UX Wireframes & Database Architecture approval.
Week 2: Backend Setup & Core Booking Logic (Host calendar & Traveler booking flow).
Week 3: Third-Party Integrations (Payment gateway & SMS triggers).
Week 4: Frontend Integration, Internal Testing, and Source Code Handover.
