Architectural advice and prototype of event ticketing system

Job ID: 32131242

Budget: $30 – $75 AUD

We're an event ticketing company, selling over 2m tickets a year for over 200 events throughout Australia and New Zealand. We are looking to rebuild our ticketing system with new technologies and are considering a Google Firebase/Google Cloud centric architecture. We're looking for someone with extensive Google Firebase and Google Cloud experience to advise on the best architecture to use, and then to build a rapid proof-of-concept to demonstrate the architecture's viability.

At a high level, the system supports the following process:
* Event organiser sets up the event through a portal webapp
* Orderer purchased a ticket through a webapp
* Orderer gives ticket to a Visitor
* Visitor registers the ticket (ie, gives name, email, phone)
* Visitor redeems the ticket at the event (ie, scans their ticket on an app)
* Visitor scans their ticket with various exhibitors around the event
* Event organiser access sales and attendance reporting

The architecture must be able to support over 30k ticket sales per minute and deliver reporting accordingly.

Please only reply to the project if you have:
* Extensive experience with Google Firebase, including delivering major projects with it
* Extensive experience with Google Cloud, including delivering major projects with it
* Exceptional JavaScript development skills
* Exceptional English communication skills
* Ability to work with a highly technical and strategic Head of technology
