Organize Google Drive Text Repository
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’ve created a new Google Drive workspace here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1S0IRZQG7JbdKaf55xjhbVHIuqFAsf01H.
Its sole purpose is to store plain text documents, and I want everything arranged in a clean, date-based hierarchy so new files are always easy to find.
What I need you to do
• Audit the existing contents of the Drive (it’s very light right now).
• Design and implement a folder structure that nests files by year → month → day.
• Move any current text files into the correct locations and set clear naming conventions so future uploads slot in seamlessly.
• Apply sensible Drive permissions so only editors can alter the structure while viewers can still read the documents.
• Provide a short, step-by-step guide (Google Doc) explaining how I can add new files without breaking the system.
I’m only storing text files at this stage, but I’d like the structure to scale if I later decide to add images or spreadsheets.
If you have experience streamlining Google Drive for teams and can turn this around quickly, let’s get started.
