Node.js Auth Backend on GCP

Job ID: 40501963

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I need a skilled backend developer to build and deploy a secure user-authentication and management service written in Node.js and hosted on Google Cloud Platform. The project is green-field, so you’ll be setting up everything from the ground up: server environment, database connection, and the authentication flow itself.

What I expect
• A clean, well-structured Node.js codebase that exposes REST (or GraphQL, if you prefer) endpoints for sign-up, login, password reset, refresh tokens and role-based access.
• Deployment to GCP using the service you judge best (Cloud Run, App Engine, GKE, etc.) with environment variables managed safely and logs viewable in Cloud Logging.
• A small, automated CI/CD pipeline so updates go live with minimal downtime.
• Clear, developer-friendly documentation so my frontend team can consume the API immediately.

Acceptance test
If I can create a user, log in, retrieve a protected resource with a valid JWT, refresh that token, and see the app running reliably on my GCP account, the job is complete.

When you apply, focus on your previous experience designing Node.js auth systems and deploying them to Google Cloud. Links to live projects or repos that highlight similar work will help me choose quickly.
