Kafka To GCP BigQuery using custom Dataflow.

I want to build a POC which takes Kafka messages and inserts into BigQuery table by building a custom dataflow. And also I need to get the metrics for no. of message published and no. of messages subscribed on time basis by making API calls to Logging.
