Expertise in deploying and managing a Google Cloud environment as per best practices.
Build and maintain Google Cloud estates as per best practices.
Experience in migrating workloads from on-prem to Google Cloud.
Experience in configuring backup, monitoring, patching and security of GCP estate.
Utilize automation tools such as Terraform etc. to provision resources
Implement monitoring and alerting of all services and applications hosted in GCP
Familiarity with Cloud APIs, gcloud CLI and SDK.
Extensive Experience working with container technology such as Docker, version control systems (Git/BitBucket), build management, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins).
Experience of Kubernetes, Istio, Apigee, Cloud SQL, RabbitMQ, etc.
Good understanding of key Google Cloud services including:
Practitioner of “Infrastructure as Code”. Strong Scripting and automation skills (Python, BASH, Ansible, Chef).
Compute Engine (GCE), Kubernetes Engine (GKE), VPC, Object, File & Block storage, Cloud Functions and Cloud SQL & Bigtable databases
Self-starter with an in-depth hands-on work experience with multiple large-scale implementations of Google Cloud Platform.
Create support documents and share knowledge with the team.
Worked on SRE activities
Evaluate Cloud estate periodically to identify opportunities for optimization.
Strong experience in Web application & Cloud security fundamentals (SSL, PKI, Digital Certificates etc).
Capability of deploying and managing highly available, cost-effective, scalable and secure systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
