Google Local Services Auto-Responder
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a small utility that automatically replies to incoming Google Local Services messages whenever I’m unavailable. The responder must work exclusively with the Google Local Services Messaging channel; SMS or email coverage is not needed.
Core requirements
• Detect new GLS messages in real time.
• Send an 80-character (or shorter) reply that we will finalise together.
• Trigger the reply only during the hours I define—think “office hours” rather than 24/7.
• Leave the thread untouched once I manually answer so customers never receive a duplicate or conflicting response.
I have provided detailed API notes and sample payloads in the attachment; please review them before quoting. All code should run reliably on a small cloud instance (I’m open to Firebase Functions, AWS Lambda, or another lightweight option you recommend) and be easy for me to adjust later if my hours change.
Deliverables
• Fully working, tested auto-reply script or service
• Simple config file or UI for setting active hours and editing the short reply
• One-page setup guide so I can redeploy or modify it myself
If you’ve previously integrated with Google Local Services or built message schedulers, that’s a plus—let me know. I’m ready to start as soon as we agree on the approach.
