Google Cloud Project Debugging

I’ve built a small, proof-of-concept app inside Google Cloud Platform to familiarise myself with the ecosystem, but my deployments keep failing. The stack is straightforward—just core GCP services like Cloud Storage and a Cloud Function—with IAM roles and permissions already in place.

What I need now is a fresh set of eyes to:

• trace the exact cause of the deployment failures showing up in the gcloud / Cloud Build logs
• adjust any mis-configured IAM settings that might be blocking resources from spinning up
• walk me through the fixes so I understand what changed and why

Once everything deploys cleanly from a single gcloud command, please leave me with a brief, step-by-step summary of the issues found and how you resolved them. That write-up is important—I’m doing this to learn, not just to get it working.
