I'm seeking a seasoned freelancer with extensive experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). My objective is to streamline my cloud setup and reduce costs without compromising data integrity.
Task Details:
- Evaluate and optimize the storage of three VMs currently using 100 GB SSD persistent disks. The goal is to transition to 50 GB Standard persistent disks.
- Ensure all application files are securely preserved for infrequent use, keeping costs down when the VMs are powered off.
- No high IOPS applications or services are currently running on these VMs, so the focus will be purely on cost-efficient storage solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience with GCP.
- A solid understanding of VM storage options and cost-saving strategies.
- Ability to handle application files with precision and care.
- Skills in assessing and optimizing cloud setups for efficiency.
