little helpt with a chrome app

I am looking for assistance with my Chrome app. The specific help I need is finding the right format to extract information with my app, as it already works.
I have the source code for my Chrome app. The app finds information on a site and then downloads that information into a database. All works well. What i like is to extracts some extra fields. They are upload to the database as well. fields and database are ready, but i need the right format to extract that parts of the website by the app. Other parts are working great. I just need some extra field formats to it gets the right info and puts it in the database.so again, the app already does what it need to do, just some extra fields to extract.
