chrome plugin

i have a existing simple javascript application. it get an url, get a parameter and copy this parameter to the clipboard. this script work as expected. (approx. 20 lines of code, file attatches in this project)
now i need a chrome extension, that do exact what the 20 lines of code do with the current browser address: get the current url, parse (with the existing logic) and copy to clipboard.
