TypeScript Chrome Extension & Web Component
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Project: TypeScript Signature Verification (Chrome Extension & Web Component)
I'm looking for a developer to create a TypeScript-based Chrome extension and a reusable web component for digital signature verification.
Core Functionality:
The primary function is to verify a downloaded file against a detached signature. This signature will be fetched from a "well-known" URL, located at the same path as the file being viewed.
Project Assets & Starting Point:
To accelerate development, we can provide relevant UI and verification logic from our existing product, Hancock.ink. I also have an initial codebase, generated with AI assistance, that can serve as a strong starting point for the project.
You can find that here:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_t7Kabw1eRW-dh-YZ-z7QE179RCfQPHjWCH6Ol8IHek/
For the right person this should be a quick project.
The Task:
My team is currently at capacity, so I am looking for a developer to take these existing assets and accomplish the following:
Set up a new, functional project in a GitHub repository.
Integrate the provided code and logic.
Ensure the core verification functionality is operational.
The idea is that once you get this all working reasonably well when we have time we will revisit and explore how to evolve from this initial proof of concept into something more final.
Future Opportunities:
This initial project could lead to future collaboration. We create a number of open-source projects within this problem domain and will likely release this one under an open-source license as well.
