Send keypress to background window. Chrome/mozilla

I am using an online cloud gaming platform that logs me out after 10 mins of inactivity. I want to be able to have it in the background without it logging off. For this I would need a chrome extension or similar that sends keypress to a background window.
The cloud gaming service runs on Chrome/mozilla
It would need to send keypresses to more than 1 instance, as I am planning to run some games simultaneously
