Search suggestions for a search engine Chrome extension

I own a search engine: https://konlap.com And a chrome extension of it: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/konlap-browser/eicopobhamhflmfjklagcffjocikjddl These are the details on how to develop a search engine chrome extension: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Add-ons/WebExtensions/manifest.json/chrome_settings_overrides Now, I want to display search suggestion in the Google Chrome top search bar. As per the documentation I need a link like "https://konlap.com/suggest?q={searchTerms}" to include it as "suggest_url" inside the manifest.json file. Now, I want to develop that link. Pls provide a clear explanation on how to build it and the timeline.
