Chrome Extension for StubHub Checkout Automation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a proficient developer who can create a Chrome extension designed to streamline the checkout process on StubHub. The specific functions to be automated during checkout are laid out in further detail below.
Ideal skills for this job include:
- Extensive experience in Chrome extension development
- Familiarity with e-commerce website checkout processes
- Proficient in JavaScript and other relevant programming languages
Please note that the extension does not need to provide any detailed reporting or logs.
Specifically, I am looking for someone to develop a custom Google chrome extension (or integration within Gmail or any similar setup) that automates clicking on buttons to navigate through the online checkout process of the event ticket resale website StubHub.
The envisioned Chrome tool will have the following functionality:
Base features:
Ability to turn on and off
When click on a checkout link (examples to be provided) and reach the checkout page for event tickets (would already be signed into an account for purchasing), click through the various prompts all the way through clicking “buy” (4-6 clicks required) so effectively, the tickets get purchased as fast as possible
No CAPTCHA, 2-step verification or anything required; just automating the clicking through
Enhanced features:
When an email with a matching phrase (e.g. “BUY”) in the subject hits Gmail inbox, click checkout link for StubHub within the email and run the same automated clicking process
The emails will hit a specific folder within a Gmail account, which will be sitting there on a computer actively connected to the internet. Opens email when it hits, opens new tab for automated checkout process (from the link in email), closes tab once checkout automation complete, and navigates back to same inbox folder (i.e. no longer within the email but back to broader inbox) when done, so the process can repeat for the next email. All emails with checkout links will have the same standardized format; examples will be shared
Ability to turn this on and off AND input a custom list of phrases in the email subject that trigger the completely automated buys
While this is a one-time project, there will be additional similar projects in the future (both further expanding this extension and building new ones).
