Chrome Extension Modification Required
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I am looking for a skilled and professional developer who can help me tweak a Chrome extension.
The extension is called Zotero Connector
(Download from here: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/zotero-connector/ekhagklcjbdpajgpjgmbionohlpdbjgc)
I want to modify it, may be just the manifest file, such that the extension will autoload each time a new paged is browsed. I do not want to manually click to load the extension. It should automatically load on each new page.
To test the your modification of the extension, you need to:
1. install zotero (Here: https://www.zotero.org/download/),
2. Open zotero
3. Go to Chrome and load the modified extension.
4. Visit this page: https://www.mdpi.com/2410-3888/6/3/37
5. visit this page: https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0294402
If the extension is autoloading on each page browsed, then two references, with their PDFs, should have been saved in Zotero, and that is the test that the modification you made works.
If you know how to make this modification, I want to hear from you.
Skills Required:
- Profound knowledge and experience in Chrome extensions
- Previous relevant work, specifically with Chrome extensions
