Chrome Extension Developer for Custom Reminder Extension

The extension must have time-based reminders; I have some ideas for features and design, but the developer is encouraged to suggest creative solutions. The extension should detect the state of the push button (pressed or released) and initiate the reminder functionality when the button is pressed.
When the push button is released, the extension should reset for the next press event.
A user-friendly interface allowing users to customize reminder times according to their preferences.
The extension should allow users to set multiple reminder intervals (e.g., every 30 minutes, every hour, etc.) and specify the duration between reminders (e.g., 5 minutes, 10 minutes).
The ability to adjust reminder settings and customize notification preferences within the extension's options menu.
Well-documented source code with clear instructions for future maintenance and updates.
Thorough testing of the extension to ensure reliability and compatibility across different platforms and versions of Chrome.
