Chrome Extension - Creating in browser prompts for anyone presenting a online solution
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are looking for someone to partner with us on creating a solution that is similar to Powerpoint’s presenter mode for Google Chrome.
For example, salespeople have evolved from sharing power points to sharing their company's solution in a web browser.
We want to create a solution that is similar in functionality to Microsoft’s power point presenter mode.
The workflow of a user experience would be the following
The Creation of a script (prior to meeting with a customer)
- A sales rep would open his company’s solution in google chrome.
- Once the application page of the solution, that he was going to demo has opened, he would click our solutions chrome extension button.
- By clicking the chrome extension, it would populate a box that prompts the user to create a script name.
- Once a script name is created and the script drafting session is started the solution would allow the user to create a number of steps.
- The steps would be like (see correlating picture example)
o Step 1: highlight the profile section of the profile picture and flash the speech prompt
o Step 2: Highlight the feed section and flash the speech prompt
o Step 3: Highlight the “today's news” section and flash the speech prompt
- You would still enable the rep to interact with the page (clicking into things). But each window would have the functionality to create new prompts.
What this would do is give sales representatives the ability to create a custom workflow for all the pitching they would do.
Using this with a customer
- A salesperson using the solution would not want the customer to see his screen with a bunch of prompts on it. That would not look good.
- What a customer should see is a clean view of whatever is being presented. (Not showing the same prompts the sales users see)
- We are wondering if the chrome extension, when a rep has enabled the script for presenting, can show a new screen highlighting what is on the page. Therefor a rep would have a page on the browser with the prompts but another page for screen sharing with the customer….that has no prompts on it.
- Example: Just like in the power point function “presenter view” there is a window you read from and a window that you show to the customer or audience. We want that same functionality with the ability to hover over prompts on the page that the rep is seeing.
Functions we would want created
- Some sort of admin panel that shows all your scripts
- In the pitching view, some sort of list that shows all the things on the page you should talk about.
- The ability to see all your steps and make edits.
