Title: Frontend Developer – Interactive UI Specialist (Canvas & Text Editing)
Description:
We are developing a web-based tool for attorneys. At the moment, it is essentially a web page that is populated live based on texts provided from a backend API.
We are looking for someone with experience in rendering technologies such as Canvas API, Fabric.js, Konva.js, or similar frameworks for building interactive applications.
The user should be able to select and interactively edit the texts using prompts (which will then lead to live updates based on our backend).
The ui should also be able to display both the the original and edited text in a user-friendly manner and let the user pick which one to keep.
Once the user is finished, a Word document is generated based on the selections (if you have experience with that, e.g. JavaScript based Word templating engines, this would be be a bonus).
It is required that you have done a similar projects before and be able to present it during a call.
You should have:
- Proven experience in UI development using canvas-like technologies described above.
- Proficiency in React, including routing, error handling, REST API integration, and state management (e.g., Redux, Context API).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bonus: Experience with OfficeJS
You must answer to following questions when submitting a proposal:
1. Have you done earlier work using canvas-like technologies that you can show us during a call?
2. Do you work for an agency or are you a stand-alone freelancer?
3. Without using any external tools (no Google, chatgpt etc.): Do you know who the 13th president is of the United States?
4. Are any of your answers AI generated?
5. Describe your recent experience with similar projects
