Project Overview
We are looking for a skilled Flutter developer to join our team on a freelance basis to help build and maintain a modular, scalable Flutter application. This project follows a modern development workflow, emphasizing modular code, Docker for containerization, version control with GitHub, and automated CI/CD pipelines. You will work with a collaborative, distributed team of developers to create new features, resolve bugs, and ensure smooth deployments to both staging and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Modular Flutter Development: Develop features in a modular structure, creating individual widgets, screens, services, and models that are easy to maintain and extend.
Collaborative Code Reviews: Work closely with other developers through GitHub pull requests, conducting code reviews, and ensuring quality standards are maintained.
Docker Setup & Management: Implement and maintain a Docker-based development environment using a Dockerfile to ensure consistency across developers' machines.
CI/CD Integration: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (using GitHub Actions or similar tools) to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
Testing & Debugging: Ensure proper unit and integration testing within the Docker container, and help with debugging issues that arise in both local and production environments.
Version Control: Maintain a clean and organized GitHub repository, ensuring all code is version-controlled, modular, and follows best practices for collaboration.
Required Skills & Experience
Flutter: Strong proficiency in Flutter and Dart, with experience building and deploying mobile (iOS and Android) and web apps.
Docker: Experience building and managing Docker images for Flutter apps. Ability to create Dockerfiles and use Docker to containerize development environments.
CI/CD: Experience setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment. Familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI is a plus.
Version Control (GitHub): Expertise in using Git and GitHub for version control, managing pull requests, and branching strategies (e.g., Git Flow).
