Development feasibility study for handwriting recognition.

Study that must be carried out by an IT professional who has, at least, a good understanding of the following tools: OCR (Optical Character Recognition); and Digital Ink Recognition (Google's handwriting recognition technology). The professional must delve into the possibilities of these two tools and, if any, of others, to compare the different possibilities (pros and cons) and help in defining the most viable path (evaluating time spent on development, investment to be made and cost of operation ) for the development of a tool, with a user-friendly interface, to convert manuscript responses (scanned, photos or scanned) of students into digital texts with a low conversion error rate. The solution must be effective in Portuguese. The professional can consider paid tools, as long as it has a low cost of text conversion, for example: cents for each text. Final work product: detailed report analyzing the different possibilities for development; pros and cons of each tool evaluated; cost estimates for development to the best possibilities; error rate estimation after a possible development.

The realization of this study would be independent of the following development, which can be carried out by another professional or company in the field.
