AppSheet UX and Workflow Overhaul

Job ID: 39883019

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

I have an in-house AppSheet app that’s grown fast and now needs a structured makeover. My priority is to redesign the navigation flow and reposition key elements so field crews can move through the app with minimum taps on mobile devices. While refining the look, I also want simple, intuitive screens that stay snappy even with spotty connectivity.

On the functionality side, I need new automations to cut down manual entry:

• Daily jobsite reports – photo uploads, notes, and automatic filing
• Employee punch clock – geofenced time-in/out with background location capture
• Material & tool requests – auto-routed to purchasing
• CRM touchpoints – log calls, emails, and site visits without duplicate data

Forms and dashboards for jobsite reporting, punch clock, material requests, purchase orders (with an approval flow), task assignment, and calendar-linked scheduling must be consolidated into a single, coherent experience. Validations should prevent double bookings and obvious data errors.

Behind the scenes, I expect cleaner relationships among Projects, Employees, Suppliers, Materials, and Tasks tables, plus security filters and slices for faster sync. Wherever possible, leverage bots, actions, and expressions to automate repetitive steps.

Please document the final architecture—tables, slices, formulas, workflows, and any third-party integrations—so my internal team can maintain and extend the solution later.

If you have solid AppSheet experience and can hand back a well-organized, mobile-first app that scales smoothly, let’s get started.
