Project Summary

We are a licensed electrical contractor in Surrey, BC merging two existing domains into a newly built website with a fully structured 201-page architecture.

The site structure and content are already complete. We are not looking for content strategy or keyword research.

We are hiring a Technical SEO specialist to execute a clean domain migration and implement the technical and local SEO framework needed to preserve rankings and authority.

Scope of Work

Migrate two domains (kankpe.ca and kankpelectric.ca) into the new site structure.

Create and implement full 1-to-1 301 redirect mapping.

Ensure no redirect chains, 404 errors, or orphaned pages.

Consolidate Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Implement structured schema including LocalBusiness, Service, and FAQ.

Validate internal linking across city hub and neighborhood pages.

Ensure proper canonical setup to prevent duplication or cannibalization.

Generate and submit XML sitemap.

Align key pages with Google Business Profile service areas.

Run post-launch audit and monitor crawl/indexing performance for 30 days.

Requirements

Proven experience with domain migrations
Experience working with local service businesses
Strong technical SEO background
Proficient with Screaming Frog, GSC, and Ahrefs or Semrush
