Setting up GA4 properties in Google Analytics, and tags on Google Tag Manager for multiple sites
Budget: $750 – $1,500 SGD
1. Create new GA4 property for the selected property in Google Analytics.
We have had Universal Analytics in place for all of our websites. We need new GA4 properties to be created and linked to their respective UA properties.
2. Create GA4 related tags in Google Tag Manager.
After creating the GA4 property in Google Analytics, we will need the GA4 configuration tag and other custom tags to be set up in Tag Manager. These custom tags are typically set up to categorize the events that are being tracked. All GA4 custom tags in GTM should be a replicate of the Universal tags and using the same set of triggers.
3. Test all created tags to ensure that they are working well.
After step 1 and 2 are done, we will need freelancer to thorough review and test to ensure that the tags are working, and the data are collected accurately on Google Analytics.
---
Different requirements will take different lengths of time to complete. We have estimated the following:
- 0.5 hours is required to set up basic GA4 configuration
- 1.5 hours is required for custom setup where custom tags need to be replicated from universal tags.
Total estimated time: 21 hours
The access that you will need for the selected UA properties and containers in Google Analytics and Tag Manager respectively will be granted when freelancer is selected. Freelancer will then receive the email regarding the access details.
