I NEED HELP SETTING UP GOOGLE ANALYTICS ON MY WEBSITE

I need help setting up google analytics on my HTML-CSS site (not bootstrap, not wordpress). I have the google account ready, and i have the site ready, but it turned out to be more complex than i anticipated to set this up . Please bid ONLY IF YOU KNOW THIS SYSTEM INSIDE OUT. Also please bid only if you can communicate everything clearly in English.
