Local Store SEO & GMB Ranking

Job ID: 40541523

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I run a brick-and-mortar shop and need a focused local SEO push that lands our Google Business Profile (GMB) in the coveted top-three map pack for our city-based searches. Because we rely on walk-in customers, every improvement in local rankings translates directly into foot traffic, so I’m expecting an approach tailored to a physical storefront rather than an e-commerce site.

The work begins with a concise audit of our current website and existing GMB listing, highlighting on-page gaps, citation inconsistencies, and any technical issues that could be suppressing visibility. From there, I’ll need a clear game plan that covers:

• On-page optimisation of key location pages (titles, meta, schema, internal links).
• Complete overhaul or creation of citations and NAP consistency across high-authority directories.
• Weekly GMB optimisation—posts, Q&As, photo updates, and keyword-rich business descriptions.
• Acquisition of locally relevant backlinks that meet Google’s quality guidelines.
• Setup or refinement of Google Search Console and Analytics tracking so I can see measurable progress in rankings, impressions, and calls.

Acceptance criteria
1. GMB surfaces in the top 3 for our primary location-based keywords (we’ll finalise the exact phrases together).
2. Detailed before-and-after ranking report plus a transparent list of links/citations created.
3. Clear recommendations for any ongoing tasks I should continue once the engagement ends.

If you regularly work with tools like BrightLocal, Moz Local, Ahrefs, or SEMrush, mention that experience; it helps me see how you’ll gather and interpret data. Timeline and milestone suggestions are welcome as long as they remain realistic—quality beats shortcuts.

I’m ready to get started as soon as I review your approach and similar local results you’ve achieved.
