Google Search Console/Fix indexing errors and sitemap
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
We are seeking a specialist in SEO and Google Search Console and fix indexing errors to help us resolve issues reported by GSC
Please note:
Upon satisfactory fixing of the above errors, we will initiate a new project - namely, to assist generally with improving SEO and page ranking
Our traffic/ranking has reduced substantially in recent years and we think this is partly due to indexing errors, however we do not know how these errors arose or how to resolve them
Some years ago, we used to have over 1,000 daily visits, whereas we are getting substantially less now (although to be honest, we do not fully understand the statistics that Google Console is displaying)
The Website (and/or some of our web content) also used to come up frequently in the first page of Google searches, often ranking as No 1
In the first instance, we want to fix any indexing issues reported by Google Search Console. We understand that this problem could be linked to eg permissions settings to Disallow indexing - or blocking by Robots.txt (although from what I can see, our robots.txt file has no lines of code in it at all)
Also, we may not have a proper XML sitemap
GSC states that we have 560 indexed pages and 5310 pages not indexed
Alternate page with proper canonical tag: 1722
Page with redirect: 712
Excluded by "noindex" tag: 525
Crawled - currently not indexed: 2322
Please note that if any of the work needed to fix the above, are actions that can be performed by us, we are happy to do that from this end to keep costs to a minimum
Once these issues have been satisfactorily resolved, we may seek further assistance as a separate project with improving our SEO/implementing better SEO management etc, including our WooCommerce store
