Monitoring the quantitative development of website traffic is the cornerstone of website performance.

Purpose:
• To get a sense of when peak times occur
• Inform if more outreaching is required
Requirement:
• Track and show the total number of users:
in a day (by hour)
in a week (by day)
in a year (by month)
per year

Purpose:
• To get a sense of how many users are interested in a particular program (how many users per award/program)
Requirement:
• Track and show how many visits are made to a program-specific page like the award info page for each award/program
Assumption:
• The award info page will have a different URL for each award/program

Purpose:
• To get a sense of what region users are accessing the portal from and how many
Requirement:
• Track and show the number of users by province and city
Assumption:
• The region of the user can be obtained from the location of the user’s IP address
