Fix Google Ads Conversion Tracking -- 2

My Google Ads account stopped recording purchase conversions even though the set-up had been working perfectly for months. I still see clicks and spend in the dashboard, but every purchase on my Shopify store now shows as “0” conversions.
The tags were installed through the standard Google channel in Shopify, so something in the existing configuration has broken rather than a brand-new implementation being needed. I need someone to jump in, diagnose the gap, and restore accurate purchase conversion tracking so that data flows again to Google Ads (and, if I choose, into Google Analytics 4).
Key deliverables
• Find the specific reason purchase conversions are no longer firing (e.g., missing gtag, duplicate GTM container, or an unwanted theme update).
• Correct the misconfiguration without disrupting live campaigns or pixel data on Shopify.
• Verify—via Tag Assistant, real-time test purchases, or similar—that a completed checkout sends the conversion signal and value back to Google Ads.
• Provide a brief summary of what was fixed so I can maintain it moving forward.
Once I see at least one test purchase appear in Google Ads with the correct value and status, the task will be considered complete.
