Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented SEO Specialist to optimize and manage the search engine visibility of our educational platforms. We provide mock tests, revision materials, and digital educational resources, and we need someone to help us rank higher, drive organic traffic, and optimize our on-page and technical SEO infrastructure.
We have recently acquired Yoast SEO Premium, so a deep, hands-on understanding of how to maximize this specific toolset is a major requirement for this role.
Key Responsibilities
On-Page Optimization: Optimize existing and upcoming educational content pages, product descriptions, and articles using Yoast SEO Premium.
Keyword Research: Identify high-intent, low-competition keywords specific to competitive exams, professional certifications, and educational resources.
Technical SEO: Conduct routine audits to identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, sitemap issues, and page-speed bottlenecks.
SEO Strategy: Implement a clean internal linking structure and optimize meta tags, schemas, and titles to improve CTR.
Competitor Analysis: Analyze what top-ranking educational sites are doing and implement strategies to outperform them.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven track record of managing SEO for Educational websites.
Expert-level knowledge of Yoast SEO Premium (redirect managers, internal linking suggestions, multi-keyword optimization).
Strong command over Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and standard keyword research tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Ubersuggest).
Ability to write and optimize compelling, SEO-friendly meta titles and descriptions that convert.
Excellent communication skills and transparency with data/reporting.
