Cross-Domain Tracking Fix for Ads Conversions

Job ID: 38562843

Budget: €6 – €12 EUR

I am facing issues with cross-domain tracking, leading to underreported conversions on Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Ads.

Domain A has GTM, Domain B has Segment. I noticed that during the session no parameters are passed from Domain A to Domain B, so it may be that Segment is not configured correctly and lead to misreported conversions.

The issues are:
- In GA the majority of the sessions are attributed to the "direct" channel
- Google Ads shows very few conversions
- Meta Ads uses CAPI through Segment but sign-ups and purchases are a bit off

Ideal candidates for this project should demonstrate understanding of cross-domain tracking, Google Tag Manager (GTM), Meta CAPI and Segment. Experience with troubleshooting and fixing tracking issues in a timely manner is crucial. I am looking for a professional who can ensure accurate tracking of conversions moving forward. The freelancer may not have direct access to the platforms but they may view them through call screen-sharing.

The objective is to identify the root cause for the issues, devise a resolution plan and act on the resolution.
