We want to implement comprehensive event tracking for Calendly bookings on our Webflow-based website. The goal is a clean and transparent setup in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) that allows easy and reliable reporting.
Tracking Requirements:
1. Event tracking for successful Calendly bookings (conversion trigger)
2. The Webflow subpage from which users were redirected to the booking page where Calendly is embeded
3. Traffic source attribution (e.g. Google Ads, organic, social media)
4. A clear, structured setup in GA4 with meaningful event names and parameters for easy analysis
Tech Stack:
• Website: Webflow
• Tracking: Google Tag Manager
• Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Scope of Work:
• Set up a custom event in Google Tag Manager to track successful Calendly bookings
• Capture and pass the referring Webflow subpage where the Calendly link was clicked
• Include and transfer traffic source data via UTM parameters or referrer tracking
• Send all relevant data to GA4 with a logical and readable event/parameter structure
• Deliver a short documentation or Loom video to explain the setup and ensure future maintainability
Required Skills:
• Solid experience with Google Tag Manager and GA4
• Familiarity with Calendly tracking
• Knowledge of event structuring, UTM/referrer logic
Timeline:
