URL analysis for a Job Board

we want to improve our position on Google when we post a new Job hire position, in particular, we’d like to understand the terms that we need and we have to improve in the URL construction.
In addition we need to migrate our website from freepress to a new one and we want a strategy to manage correctly the link between the old and the new site and URL.
