Set Google retargeting in Google ads

We set up some ads and would like to enable retargeting. We just need someone who can help us to set the data feed and then to tag our website visitors.
Please let me know if you have past experience doing this.
As an indication we do not sell product we are just promoting a non profit organisation with information to consumers then the data feed should be very straigth forward and simple.
