Marketing of Website

I've never marketed this website, https://andys-treeservice.com/, but I'm launching adwords myself. I need help with that, and my whole seo profile analyzed. Right now I am #1 in my town for GMB (the map). But I don't have this website linked to that page, I have another from a guy who used to do adwords for me, but I stopped those ads, as they were costing me a fortune per call (almost $100 per call last year). I was getting the same # of calls for free from my map.

His website is https://escondido-treeservice.com. I want to get rid of him, and link my own https://treeserviceescondido.com/ to the map page. He says that would be a bad idea.

My other website is for adwords OUTSIDE Escondido, CA.
